Sidekick PR teams up with Elevate You Awards to champion women in business on the Isle of Man

Founded by local entrepreneur Louise Wheeler, the Elevate You Awards will return in September 2026 following the success of last year’s inaugural ceremony, which celebrated the achievements of women leaders and entrepreneurs across the Isle of Man.

With anticipation already building ahead of the event, Sidekick PR is supporting the awards with a strategic media relations campaign and social media activity designed to raise awareness, drive engagement and shine a spotlight on the powerful stories behind the island’s women in business.

The official launch of the 2026 awards took place last month, with Sidekick PR’s media outreach securing strong coverage for Louise across local news platforms in the lead-up to International Women’s Day.

The campaign has so far helped reinforce the awards’ core message in a topical and newsworthy way, emphasising that recognising and investing in women should happen year‑round, not just on one day in the calendar.

Sidekick PR director Kirstie Nickson, who is Manx-born and based in Ramsey on the Isle of Man, says she’s thrilled to be working on a project that aligns so closely with Sidekick’s values as a female-founded consultancy.

The Elevate You Awards were created by Louise after she attended similar events in the UK and recognised a need for a dedicated platform on the Isle of Man to celebrate women’s achievements in business and leadership.

The 2026 event will take place at Woodbourne House in September and will once again bring together business owners, leaders, employers and supporters from across the island.

With headline sponsorship already secured from FIM Capital and interest building from across the business community, the Elevate You Awards 2026 are shaping up to be even bigger and bolder than before.
