Farwell 2024

Sitting here writing the words ‘Farwell 2024’ feels more than surreal.

January feels like a matter of days ago and, the thought that next year is 2025 – five years after the start of the Covid pandemic - simply doesn’t compute. But, here we are. The Christmas tree is up, the Baileys is beckoning, and every person I speak to can’t wait to switch off for a day or two and recharge with their loved ones this festive season.

At Sidekick, we’ve had lots going on this year. From travelling the country to deliver training, to welcoming new clients and taking on new projects, it’s been a busy year to say the least. 2025 marks the start of our tenth year in business at Sidekick, and we can’t wait to get the celebrations underway.

The world has changed dramatically since we signed on the dotted line and founded the company back in 2016 and, as we look ahead to the next ten years, it’s safe to say even more drastic change is inevitable over the next decade or so.

From the continued integration of artificial intelligence into the way we all live and work, to unsettling geopolitical changes around the globe, I’d be a rich woman if I knew where we’d all be standing when Sidekick reaches its 20th birthday.

So, for now, I’m going to raise a toast to the present and to the past. To what we’ve achieved over the last 12 months and, indeed, over the last nine years.
